      Critical Limb Ischemia

      Critical Limb Ischemia

Critical limb ischemia (CLI) is a chronic and complex disease process that affects the vascular systems and surrounding tissues of the arms and legs, advances over a longer timeframe (months to years), and leads to limb loss if left untreated.  CLI is the last stage in the progression of peripheral vascular disease (PVD).

Outpatient Integrated Strategies has the clinical expertise to establish a Critical Limb Ischemia Center of Excellence at your facility. Whether in coordination with our Wound Services and Infusion Services programs or as a separate entity, your CLI program will be physician-led and multidisciplinary in nature to coordinate the best treatment options for CLI patients who typically have multiple and complex comorbidities.

      Program Goals:

      Pain relief
      Wound healing
      Amputation prevention
      Quality of life improvement
      Mortality reduction
